” Rebecca was amazing for our wedding! We have had so many Beautiful photos! It is hard for me to pick which ones I want to put on the wall or in an album, I may need serval albums. She has a really good eye for detail and we have had some really brilliant photos and photos of the little but meaningful details from our big day. She is a lovely, friendly, bubbly person and is very easy going. She was happy to do a more of a relaxed approach to taking photos. Which was brilliant for us as we don’t really take pictures and can find it uncomfortable but this was not the case with Rebecca, she made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. We would highly recommend her. Thank you so much Rebecca ”

Wow! What a journey I’ve been on with Jess & Luke! They were one of my first wedding bookings when I started my photography business and had their original date booked for 2020…We all know what happened there so I won’t mention the C word! After two postponements and two years later, they finally were able to have their special day and say I do!
A beautiful outdoor rustic ceremony under a floral arch, hay bales for seats, a burgundy colour scheme, milk churns adorned with gorgeous florals, DIY rustic touches throughout and the most detailed and personal wedding cake I’ve ever seen! Luke being a farmer incorporated his tractor into their day which made for some great photos and was such a buzz during getting ready preparations hearing the guys drive past honking the tractors horn!
It’s always a pleasure to photograph at The Old Milking Parlour at Cavokay House. The grounds are so picturesque with its own beautiful woodland set on twelve acres of private ground, it makes for a great setting to escape the hustle and bustle of the day together, to take some quiet time out to spend some time with each other to soak up your day and also provides a stunning backdrop for your couples portraits. As we headed into the woodland for Jess & Luke, we were treated to a beautiful wave of gorgeous golden hour light streaming through the trees!
On top of the beautiful grounds, Lou and Colin owners of The Old Milking Parlour at Cavokay House are just such an absolute pleasure to be around and a joy to work with! They provide full on the day co-ordination so you always know you will be in safe hands!

HOW DID YOU MEET?
We met in and pub when we were out with both of our parents for a meal. Even though we went to the same school we never met there.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING DATE?
We originally planned to get married on our Anniversary which would have been the 14th August 2022 as we got engaged on the 14th August 2018 our 10 year Anniversary. But after two postponements due to Covid we picked a Saturday that was close to the original date. So we had our 14 year Anniversary on the 14th August 2022 and then got married on the 26th August 2022.
HOW & WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE?
We both wanted a barn venue wedding and the Old Milking Parlour was perfect as it’s an old milking parlour and my husband milks cows so it’s was what we both wanted and had the rustic theme we wanted.
DID YOU HAVE A WEDDING THEME?
We had a rustic theme which suited the venue perfectly.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE DAY?
The ceremony
YOUR FIRST DANCE SONG?
Ella Henderson – Yours
ARE YOU GOING ON HONEYMOON?
Yes we will go on a honeymoon on our one year anniversary as our baby girl Rosie will be 18 months old by then and easier for us to leave with grandparents. We are thinking of going to Snowdonia in Wales and then go up to Scotland.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ME AS YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
We liked your website and all your pictures so we contacted you and you were friendly and accommodating and made us feel at ease.
ANY ADVICE OR TIPS FOR OTHER COUPLES CURRENTLY PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
Just enjoy yourself as it really does fly by. Don’t stress about the small things as people don’t notice them. Try and get some one and one time as husband and wife after the ceremony.
