I absolutely LOVED everything about Jack & Ellie’s newborn session! From having squishy newborn cuddles with sweet baby Isabelle… To floofy tail wags from big fur brother Henry!

At my studio I’m proud to be dog friendly and will always welcome furry friends to join in on the family photo fun! All of my newborn sessions include parent and full family photos, so what better way to include the whole family than by bringing along your fur babies as well! After all, our four-legged companions are just as much as part of the family as the two-legged ones. So when Jack & Ellie asked if they could bring Henry along to their newborn photoshoot, of course the answer was yes!

From the moment they arrived it was clear that Henry had settled into his role of ‘big fur brother’ – It was clear that Henry was completely smitten with little Isabelle. Gently sniffing her little toeas and cuddling up to her, he already knew he had a little human sister to protect.

One of my favourite moments of the session was when dad Jack gave Isabelle a kiss on the beanbag, but Henry had to sneak his kiss in too and squeezed right on in!

It was important to Jack & Ellie to include Henry in their family newborn session, and looking back through the photos I can see why! The love in this session was just overflowing and you can really see that Henry is just as much a part of the family and having him included really added an extra layer of warmth and personality to the photos.
