HOW DID YOU MEET & WHAT WAS YOUR PROPOSAL STORY?
We met at university but it was only a few years later that we came across each other on a dating site. We went for a catch up drink back in January 2016 and the rest is history! Will proposed to me on holiday in Antalya, Turkey at the end of a beautiful pier. He gave me a beautiful solitaire ring with a twisted band that he designed himself.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING DATE?
We knew we wanted to get married in 2022 and picked June for good weather and so we could spend the summer on our honeymoon.
HOW & WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE MANOR ESTATE, SALISBURY FOR YOUR WEDDING VENUE?
We came across The Manor Estate on Instagram, and both loved it as soon as we saw it. We wanted our ceremony and reception in the same place so there was no travelling between, and we knew we wanted a rustic, barn style wedding. The Manor Estate ticked all the boxes for us, and it also came with Pippa our wonderful wedding coordinator who did everything to make sure our day was truly special and everything we wanted it to be.
DID YOU HAVE A WEDDING THEME?
We went for a rustic barn style wedding with lots of soft blush colours, flowers and wooden accents.
WERE THERE ANY PERSONAL OR MEANINGFUL TOUCHES?
We designed a lot of the decor ourselves. We named our tables after places we had visited together and put a photo of us in each place on the tables. We also had something special on display dedicated to our loved ones that are no longer with us.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE DAY?
Our favourite parts were spending time with each other while we were having our photos taken and we also loved doing our first dance.

WHERE DID YOU GO ON HONEYMOON?
We did a 3 week road trip around the west coast of America (Los Angeles, the Death Valley, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Palm Springs and San Diego)
ANY ADVICE OR TIPS FOR OTHER COUPLES CURRENTLY PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
Give yourselves enough time to plan, if you hit any bumps in the road you can fix it without too much stress. Also lean on your bridesmaids & groomsmen for help, that’s what they are there for! Ours were brilliant in the lead up and on the day.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ME AS YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
Rebecca was one of my work colleagues years ago, and I knew I wanted her as our photographer because not only is she a friend, her photos are beautiful and light and airy, and that’s the kind of style we wanted to capture our day.
