” Rebecca is an outstanding photographer! We were so lucky to have her as our photographer on the 21.08.21. She is so passionate and truly puts her heart into her work. We experienced some rain showers on our day at the time of group/couples photos and Rebecca was so amazing at planning and working around the weather and the schedule of the day to make sure we got the photos we wanted! We have only seen 30-ish pictures from our wedding day as a sneak peak until the full amount of photos are ready and can honestly say the photos are incredible! We felt comfortable around Rebecca from the moment her met her and knew we had trusted the right person to capture our day. 100% reccomed Rebecca to everyone!! You won’t find another photographer as kind, caring and passionate as her! ”

I always love it when couples become friends! (That’s always my goal!) So when Carlie & Callum’s special day finally came around it felt like we’d already known each other for ages after having already done their pre-wedding shoot at National Trust Stourhead the year before, lots of Instagram DM chats and a longer build up than expected for their wedding due to Covid postponements!
I arrived for a super chill and relaxed bridal prep at Carlie’s house on the morning of the wedding and their venue was extremely local being only a 10 minute drive to the next town over. Their day was focused around their family and friends and you really could feel alllll the love in the air everyone had for these two!
After a rainy morning and dodging the showers between group photos after the ceremony (Shoutout to Head Bridesmaid Tamsin and Best Man Josh for the speediest round up of group photos I’ve ever had!) Carlie & Callum were treated to a glorious sunny August afternoon, the light was just gorgeous and we were able to head out for not just one but a couple of rounds of couples portraits, firstly on the golf course itself and then secondly to the fishing lake just hidden around the corner, all while still allowing plenty of time for mixing and mingling with their guests in between.
Then BAM golden hour… I stole them both away just as they were going to head inside for their first dance and said ‘Trust me I need to steal you!’ – Most guests didn’t even notice, but a few did and they were shouting at us to come back as we were running away across the golf course to grab the only few minutes of golden hour before it disappeared again behind the clouds. Worry not, the first dance still happened (trust your photographer when they need to steal you!) – Sung by Carlie’s Dad with his band ‘The Miller Brothers’ then followed by a surprise father/daughter solo acoustic song he sang for Carlie immediately after and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room!

HOW DID YOU MEET?
We met when I was 15 and Callum was 16, Callum proposed on our 6 year anniversary.
HOW & WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE?
We wanted a simple wedding, nothing too fancy. Family and friends were the most important thing
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE DAY?
The ceremony! Also having a few moments throughout the day for couples photos, it really gave us some special time together.
ANY MEMORABLE OR FUNNY MOMENTS ON THE DAY?
The speeches! Running for the golden hour photos while guests shouted us for the first dance – The dance can wait, we only get this moment once! The tray of prosecco that was dropped over my dress!! Father of the bride split his trousers…
YOUR FIRST DANCE SONG?
I won’t give up – Jason Mraz. This has always been ‘our song’
YOUR HONEYMOON
Greece, Santorini was cancelled! But our little log cabin in Dorset with our dog was just perfect.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ME AS YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
First watching your introduction videos on Instagram, we both related to your own fear of having your photo taken, the pure love you have for weddings, the natural lighting/candid approach, how down to earth and real you seemed/are.
ANY ADVICE OR TIPS FOR OTHER COUPLES CURRENTLY PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
Choose your bridal party wisely – ours were an amazing help on the lead up and the day, any minor inconveniences or things that needed seeing to, they are the ones to help you and allow you to be stress free! Be prepared for the dress and shoes to get ruined quickly if its not a dry day….however, you’d never know from our photos how muddy my dress really was!
