Newborn Portfolio

When you come to me for your newborn photoshoot, I’ll do whatever I can to take as much off your plate as possible. We can chat if you’d like, or you can just enjoy the peace and quiet. I’ll make you a cup of tea (that you’ll actually get to finish before it gets cold!) If you’d like to be in the photos with your baby, I have my studio wardrobe you can use. Or if you’d prefer to just relax and let me take over, that’s fine too. 

The aesthetic is understated and classic, with fresh white wraps, a white bean bag, and your beautiful new baby. Your eye won’t be drawn to the hat they’re wearing, the toy they’re clutching, or the bucket they're sitting in. I want you to have photos of your baby where all you see is them. 

You can take your time browsing through my client wardrobe, have a cup of tea and a chat. I can even recommend a hair and makeup artist for you, if you’d like. It’s not just about the images; I want you to feel pampered! 

The photos themselves will be clean, calm, elevated. Your baby won’t be set against a busy backdrop, or sharing the frame with a million other things. I want you to have newborn photos of you and your baby, no distractions. Photos that are beautiful art in their own right. 

The ideal time to  photograph your newborn is within 14 days old. However older newborns can also be photographed they will just be more awake and less curled up!
