Katie & JD’s Winter wedding at Orchardleigh House was my last wedding of 2021 and what a fabulous way to end the year! A day truly focused around family and friends, it was an honour to be a part of.

Katie had let me know ahead of our pre wedding consultation that JD’s groomsmen had arranged surprise transport for him to arrive in at the venue, I quickly snuck away from bridal prep to capture his arrival with all of his groomsmen in a party bus before heading back to the girls!

Their cosy ceremony was held in front of the lit fireplace, then everyone headed outside for a chilly confetti shot and group photos! Mulled wine and hot chocolate was waiting for everyone from Bar 2 Hire out on the terrace to keep warm ahead of an indoor cocktail hour.

It was such an honour to capture Katie & JD’s special day, and even on a chilly winter afternoon, Orchardleigh House in Somerset provided the perfect backdrop and was such a lovely way to end the year!
