My aesthetic & signature style is understated and classic. With my collection of simplistic wraps and textures, and your beautiful new baby, your eye won’t be drawn to the busy outfit they’re wearing, the toy they’re clutching, or the bucket they're sitting in. No bold colours or crazy or unnatural posing, just your baby simply swaddled & delicately wrapped, I prefer the less is more approach.
For mums, all of my newborn sessions are styled from my studio wardrobe, which is full of carefully curated pieces to work seamlessly with my relaxed lifestyle posing and light editing style, all to give you an elevated beautiful final gallery.
The ideal time to photograph your newborn is within 7-21 days old. However because of my relaxed style, there's no urgency or need for them to be extra sleepy or curled up. Therefore it's not a problem if your newborn is slightly older than this.

When my littles were newborn there were two things that instantly came to my mind when I went to have their newborn photos taken. Firstly, what will I wear!? I definitely wasn't feeling myself or feeling comfortable post partum. Secondly, how long will it take? I didn't want to be somewhere for 3-4 hours for a session. As a breastfeeding mama and still recovering, I wanted to be back home and back in my newborn bubble as quickly as possible.
So believe me when I say, I understand! ...I've been there!
That's why I feel so passionate about making your studio experience the most relaxed and easy it can be for you!
I have a selection of comfy & floaty dresses in my studio wardrobe, so you can literally turn up in your PJ's and get changed here if you wanted, I won't judge!
I have a streamlined workflow for my newborn sessions. So although I always work baby-led, and yes it's inevitable we'll need to stop and start for feeding and mama cuddles my newborn sessions are inclusive of parent and sibling photo combinations and are usually complete in 1.5 hours (I allow up to 2 hours of studio time)
